had finished 2 nites….
e 1st nites was gd… ward was settled n im takin onli 1 pt w dialysis and terminated halfway durin shift anyway e rest of e nite was reali settled…
2nd nite i woke up earlier coz planned 2 go suz hse for her open hse… anyway i was awoken by hui.. thx hor wakin me up so early.. in e end i woke up 1 hr earlier den my planned time.. sian … reach suz place at 5… after eatin n den lucky Nor hubby drove us 2 wk.. so reach e ward quite early… actuali suspose 2 take AL.. bt tinin e ward might nt b busy so didnt wanted… REGRET for nt taking…
reach e ward they had oreoli admitted 2 pt.. 2 more for my time… 1 trauma n 1 neuro… sian.. Trauma sure occupied… so after i set e assignment… i cn onli afford 2 admit 3 more… den i see DR HENG… i was like… OK>>>>>>> except 2 admit bah… so after takin over shortly e trauma came.. ammm nt 2 bad case juz had tins 2 settled… den Neuro frm OT had 2 sen for angio.. so had 2 do them a favor.. sen my nurse 2 accompani.. sian… anyway came back liao.. its e rountine neuro case… slp overnight…..after i had settled my pt… i heard 1 med overflow frm AnE… kao.. sian… no choice MICU full liao.. so.. less than 30min ltr i heard.. 1 more Med overflow.. kao.. sian 1 more…. so no choice me is e 2nd admission i hav 2 take loh… so admitted e 1st Med case.. its a v nice aunt… sian pt cm up for tube n scope… so while i was helpin 2 settled e pt.. sm1 shouted for me.. its e trauma case… e relative n e nurse havin sm argument… wah kao sian.. being an IC is so sian hav 2 settle every1 prob… hav 2 face e scoldin.. bt nt 2 bad i managed 2 settled e prob n calm e relative dwn… wel.. at least is settled (a pat on my shoulder.)
expectin e pt 2 cm frm AE.. bt den coz e Med MO is busy so hold e transfer.. lucky e AE staff was quite nice.. anyway finali admitted e pt at closed 2 12mn……
so long didnt admit Med case… anyway hate it.. coz there is lots of tins 2 do… frm e pt cm hav 2 set e lines, start all e drug n e whole list of BLOOD INVESTIGATIONS…. reali cn kill…. anyway it took them ard 2 3 hr 2 finali gt in e lines… took CXR… sen off blood… ensure tat pt is well ventilated… n forgt 2 mention e pt is APO… so e secretion is juz like free flow… cn juz stand there put in e inline n juz cont suction for 5 min…. wen she came in til i pass over almost 1L of secretion tat i had suction out….
so busy occupied… in fact most of us r occupied.. those who r settled dn knw hw 2 go ard n help.. tat makes ur bld wan 2 boil… sian… i knw my temper is no gd.. bt den i juz dn feel like sayin much… its all ur own initiative…
oh nt 2 forgt 2 mention we had admited e last pt… anyway 2 bad hui takin e liver transplant case hav 2 admit.. bt thxful its a clean pt…
i was reali busy n felt bad tat mayb my pt didnt reali gt my full attention n care…… of coz i had done my best without regrets.. my uncle was nt turned for >>>>> hrs… wat 2 do.. spinal pt…
left 1 bed tat i couldnt admit my time due 2 no staff… comin mornin received call sayin gt overflow.. n actuali we had a overflow 2 CCU…. wel.. i reali dn knw.. if i knw i also cnt do anytin.. coz.. who is gg 2 admit??? i dn knw.. anyway its nt my prob.. i was so busy myself.. even those pt i had admit durin my time i had no time 2 see n update… bt reali thxful gt Cindy in e morn….
bt den nt 2 bad i had handed over n settled my tin n step out of e ward at ard 9… headed dwn 2 had a gd breakfast w hui… so satisfated…. juz felt paiseh tat i had left a mess 2 cindy.. keke..
wel… i was nt v tired n hungry mayb over exhausted n hunger n resulted in no feelin.. hehe… anyway reali dn like med pt.. coz there is reali 2 mani endless tin 2 do.. bt reali thxful e Med MO A.Kee was helpful n funi.. if nt wil b more sian…
anyway juz like hui say.. its over… we survived.. n lookin forward 2 my 3 off days i should b hapi… ltr gg 2 bk cake for gal.. hello kitty cake should b fine for her….
2mrw oreoli planned 2 meet out w cindy n CM b4 she leave.. hope we cn hav sm gd food..
tues… lookin 4ward 2 e ktv.. he promised he wil practise juz see hw is like…
den back 2 wk for 3 days.. den off on sat 2 celeb gal bd… n den… 1 more day of wk til new roster… lookin forward..
wel.. always keep my positive energy on… there is lots of tin awaitin me.. its juz keeps my goin..
